About Us

Warrenton Favorites.com is locally owned and managed by Yvonne Herbst.

I have lived here with my husband, Jerry, and two children, Ian (now 14) and Erin (now 13) since 1996. We moved to this area from the Penderbrook neighborhood near Fair Oaks mall in Fairfax, Virginia. We wanted to raise our children in a more peaceful, rural setting, and since Jerry had a consulting practice he could manage from a home based office, it was an easy decision to move here.

When my children were young, I taught yoga part-time through the Old Town Athletic Club from 1999-2000, then ventured out and started by own studio in 2000.

I named it the New Life Yoga Center in the Oak Springs Plaza near the Giant Grocery Store shopping center.

You may have seen the big YOGA sign in the space next to Domino's Pizza. H. and R. Block have the space now where I used to be.

I continue to teach yoga part- time through the Fauquier Hospital's LIFE Center and have a second website devoted to my yoga classes. You can see it at www.yogawarrenton.com.

I built www.yogawarrenton.com myself in a single day using the small business wordpress template developed by my associate Don Campbell of www.Expand2Web.com.

Warrenton-Favorites.com has evolved out of my interest in facilitating strong connections among the people of our community.

Consumers like to save money and support the independent businesses that serve our community.

Local business owners like to find effective and affordable ways to attract more customers.
